The Polari Film Festival takes place this October 16–20, 2013 at local theaters in Austin, Texas. The festival features innovative programming expressing a continued dedication to inclusivity.
During the 5 days of the Film Festival over a hundred narrative, documentary, experimental and digital media works will screen. The selections are chosen from hundreds of submissions from all over the world, resulting in a juried and awarded program that is approximately 30% international.
Special Festival Events include the Opening Party, Centerpiece Party, Film Awards + Closing Party, Filmmaker Brunch and special After Parties featuring performances and entertainment.
In addition to five days of film screenings and special events, the Film Festival Program will spotlight a collection of panels and industry mixers.
