Our wise and witty friends at the Austin Chronicle’s Gay Place have just released their list of national “tops and bottoms” for 2012 and we are very happy to report that Polari (the Nonprofit Organization and Film Festival formerly known as AGLIFF) earned a spot at number six on the local list. We couldn’t be more proud to be included in a list that also includes such monumental events as the Austin City Council’s declared support for same-sex marriage and the return of one of our favorite local music events, GayBiGayGay.
Big thanks to the Gay Place for their recognition and for everything they have done to keep Austin’s queer community vibrant and in-the-know. We promise to stay on top in 2013 with even bigger and better programs and year round events!
